Miriam has over twenty-five years of experience executing complex commercial real estate development projects with a focus on public-private partnerships.
Miriam founded MGH Advisory in 2023. Prior to starting her own company, Miriam was the Head of Development and Construction for Priya Living, a senior living brand. Miriam also served as Executive Vice President of Real Estate at the publicly traded Trinity Place Holdings Inc. and as Executive Vice President and Head of the Real Estate Transaction Services Group for the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC).
At NYCEDC she negotiated transformational public-private development deals on behalf of the Bloomberg Administration such as The Cornell Tech Campus and Essex Crossing. Miriam began her career at Forest City Ratner Companies where she was instrumental in the development of The New York Times Building as well as the companies’ hotel projects.
Miriam earned a Master’s in Urban Planning from The Harvard Graduate School of Design, an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. from Swarthmore College.
Miriam is an active member of WX - New York Women Executives in Real Estate and serves on the board of the not-for-profit Building for the Arts New York. She was awarded The Innovative Executive Award 2021 by The Beverly Willis Foundation and was a 2018 Crain’s New York Business Notable Woman in Real Estate. Miriam also is a regular guest speaker for graduate business schools and real estate programs on public-private partnerships in real estate.
